ABOUT THE PLAY

Chloe and Robbie find that the rules of their relationship change when the all-star high school theatre couple head to advance training at Limelight North and each begin to question their own sexuality. A love letter to first relationships and high school theatre.

EVERYBODY LOVES ROBBIE was commissioned by Northern Light Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The play had its world premiere in January 2020.

EVERYBODY LOVES ROBBIE won the 2021 Alberta Literary Award for Drama (Gwen Pharis Award for Drama) and was nominated for an 2020 Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award for Outstanding New Play.
